A uniform committee has been meeting over the past few weeks and will hopefully be in a position to present options to parents and students. Given that everyone has an opinion on such issues, we are not underestimating the difficulty of the task. Once consultation with students, parents and staff has been completed options will be presented to the board for consideration. If changes are made to the existing uniform, we will ensure a reasonable lead-in period.
We are continuing to investigate options for a revamp of the Elworthy Street entrance and fence line at the Pareora Campus. Again, this is a process not to be rushed.
